Everyday when children are going to or from schools, you will see a host of yellow Hongwen buses shuttling on the streets of the city, across multiple districts, carrying children covering the journey between the school and their homes.
How to apply for bus service?
Before each new school semester, the bus service company will, on the basis of the application forms submitted by students’ families, decide on the new bus routes. They would conduct preliminary checkups to settle on the location of the stops, the exact time for each stop, with all the details forwarded to the parents, so that they could decide whether to take the bus or not.
School buses are provided by specialized company, with management of routine maintenance (checkups on bus conditions, regular cleaning, and inspection of fire-fighting equipment), disinfection, and the assignment of drivers and bus mummy all conducted in light of the highest standards to provide safe, convenient, and comfortable means of transports for students in need.
During the pandemic, the bus mummy will see to the disinfection of the bus before the students get on, and after they get off. The students’ body temperature will be taken twice everyday, upon their entering and leaving the campus. Hand sanitizer is provided to better safeguard the health of the students.
Punctual, convenient and individualized bus service
Each morning on a school day, the presence of an experienced driver and a meticulously kind bus mummy will ensure that the school bus arrives at the campus punctually, before 7:55, so that the students can start the daily study and life on time.
During the four years since the school was launched, the school has been consistently providing care for students who could not be picked up or leave the campus on time after school, and this service goes particularly well with parents. Hongwen provide after-school bus services at 16:30 and 18:00, with the 16:30 bus stops deployed right at the gate of communities, or within 1,000 meters of it, to make it easier for the parents and students. Bus services are also provided at 18:00 for students who cannot leave the campus on time, and would stop only at major stops.
Well-designed bus safety regulations

With its consistent emphasis on safety, Hongwen School has drawn up a number of regulations on activities ranging from bus operation, supervision, to rear service. A dedicated safety manager will be in charge of routine checkups on the bus services, handling complaints from the parents, so as to ensure that the services are provided by dedicated vehicles.

Each bus mummy will set up a WeChat group to facilitate timely communication with the parents. During the bus journey, the mummy will make sure that safety belts are fastened, and all students will ride the bus properly with good manners, to ensure the safe passage of each student.
Heightened safety awareness
School bus saves considerable time for parents who otherwise have to send or pick up the kids themselves, and it allows the students some extra time have some rest on the journey. It also enhances their ability to communicate with students of different ages. During the bus journey, the mummy will play videos in the English original, so that the students might pick up some English during this relaxing journey.
